10-12 Grade Students
On Wednesday, December 21st health screenings for grades 10-12 will begin in your PE classes and will continue after break until January 5th. In preparation for this screening please be sure to have your glasses in school for your eye exam. Thank you
Interested in Mobile App development for Android? Tech Club’s Mobile App subgroup meets Wednesdays after school in the 10-12th building room 177. No programming experience is necessary. All are welcome to join.
Class of 2018 Basket Raffle
The Class of 2018 is holding a basket raffle. Items include: 2 party trays to Chick-Fil-A, a plush Chick-Fil-A cow, $25 voucher to Applebee’s, $35 Zoe’s gift card, 1 Large Party Tray from Collegeville Pretzel Factory, $15 Kiwi Yogurt, $25 California Tortilla, and Holiday Kitchen Items.
Tickets: 1 - $1, 5 - $3, 10 - $5, 25 - $10. Tickets will be sold during lunches, at some winter sporting events, and the 11th grade office. Raffle ends Wednesday, December 21stand the winning ticket will be pulled and posted on December 22. Click here for a picture of the basket.

Senior Baby Ads “The Yearbook Staff would like to remind all Seniors that the DEADLINE for Senior baby pictures is this FRIDAY DECEMBER 2nd. These baby picture submissions need to be completed online at www.yearbookforever.com. Scroll down under “Yearbooks – buy Yearbook” and choose Yearbook Ads” – Buy a Baby Ad”. Then and Now pictures for the yearbook will be due January 3rd, they can either be turned into Mrs. Rudloff hardcopy or emailed to yearbook at email@example.com. Please make sure to clearly indicate who is in the picture and if they are hardcopy, who they should be returned to.
Senior Sibling photos – there will be a sign-up outside room 166 for sibling to get photographed.
The sign-up will be posted outside my room 166, the week of November 28th-December 2nd. Senior sibling pictures are open to any senior who has a sibling in 9-12 grade.

SFAHS Nationally Recognized by Newsweek
Spring-Ford Area Senior High School was nationally ranked Newsweek’s 2016 “America’s Top High Schools” report. With more than 15,000 high schools under consideration, Spring-Ford was ranked in the top 500 at number 306.
According to the publication’s website, “The Newsweek High School Rankings assess schools based on a broad range of data to determine which institutions do the best job of preparing students for college.” Spring-Ford, like the other high-achieving high schools, shined primarily because of its high achieving students and highly talented teachers.
Data do schools needed to provide for Newsweek’s survey included school demographics and counselors; college acceptance and enrollment; SAT and ACT participation and performance; AP, IB, and AICE participation and performance; and dual enrollments. Spring-Ford’s data shined.
Parking Permit Application 2016-2017
The application for a Parking Permit for the 2016-2017 School year is available here. Complete both sides of the application and hand it in to the 11th grade house office. The parking permit fee is $50. A student will not be eligible for a parking permit if he or she owes an obligation.
Working papers can be acquired at both the appropriate grade level at the 10-12 Center and at the 9th Grade Center. Please click here for information concerning this process.
